The National Police Agency has appealed to retailers to improve how they conduct sales of the popular television game software Dragon Quest III. With the 2nd shipment arriving on the 19th, on the 18th, some retailers decided to instead wait until school closure, postponing sales until the weekend such as Bic Camera which has two stores in Tokyo’s Ikebukuro.
Sales were initially planned to begin on the weekday, but to prevent children from being truant, it was decided to instead begin sales at 2 PM on Saturday the 20th and Sunday the 21st.
