The following is a reading list centered on the video game developer Cat’s Pro. For now, it specifically focuses on print coverage, gathering advertisements, reviews, interviews, and walkthroughs.
Cat’s Pro seems to have been a lesser well known eroge developer of the PC-98 scene. However, the one title that stands out amongst their gameography is Nova (1993), a sci-fi, ADV eroge with striking visuals and a comparatively more engrossing narrative. Nova was successful enough that throughout the year, it broke into the top 5 best-selling eroge of the month. For a brief period then, Cat’s Pro were able to rub shoulders with the far bigger developers of ELF and AliceSoft.
